Abstract: As the primary method of FDI, transnational merger and acquisition (M&A) brings us not only the prosperous economy, but also the monopoly problem. Based on the effects doctrine, one nation has the right to regulate the corporations¡¯ M&A. Antitrust measures for transnational M&A should follow the principle of national treatment and domestic benefit. This thesis also discusses the specific measures, including the substantial and procedure standard, punishment and execution. Finally, after discussion of present situation after China¡¯s entry to WTO, the author gives suggestion to improve the antitrust measures for transnational M&A in China.
